“Die with memories, not dreams.”

One of my core beliefs is that a life well lived is the most important thing we can do. A life well lived isn’t one where we accumulate the most wealth, take the least amount of risks, live comfortably or play it safe.

In the fitness industry we have seen a shift in what people are recommended to do. A lot of exercises and training regimen are geared toward “optimal” performance. Do enough work that it won’t overwhelm you. Don’t take any risks that can cause injury or set back. No reason to train too hard if it doesn’t yield better results.

We see this in life as well. Unless we can find something that is perfectly fitted to guarantee “best” results, we might refrain from doing it. Or we try to find a way we can perform a task in the most “safe” or “efficient” way. How many times have I talked to clients where they said they couldn’t take action yet because something wasn’t perfectly accounted for? Too many to count.

But that negates one of the most powerful emotions we have. Ambition. We are all born with dreams. Dreams of what to accomplish, where to live, who to marry, what to acquire. These dreams tend to dwindle away as we get older, and we start to settle for things that come our way. But life doesn’t have to be this way.

Wether it’s a job, a friend, a living situation or your physical capacity, I believe we should strive to get as close to our dreams as possible. But to most, that seems to be out of reach. And that’s where I come in. My main job is to get you to be living as close to your perfect life as possible. Usually that starts with your health and fitness. Being a badass physically positively impacts every aspect of your life. From being able to be more resilient to being more confident, any challenge will be tackled by you harder and more efficiently.

If we all were able to live our perfect lives, how much happier would we be as a society? How much more efficiently would we live? How much more helpful would we be to our nerighboors?
